Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Igboho stated that he is waiting for the Federal Government’s approval to deploy his proposed security outfit, the Iru Ekun Security Network (also referred to as Ija Ekun).
He made this declaration in response to escalating kidnappings and attacks in rural communities across the South-West.
Details:The Plan: Igboho claims his 50,000-man security force is fully trained, battle-ready, and mapped out to flush armed groups, terrorists, and kidnappers out of South-West forests.
Official Authorization: While his men are on standby, he emphasized that they will not bypass the government and are actively waiting for the green light from the Federal Government and regional governors.
State Compliance: He has submitted all necessary documents to register the security firm and stated his readiness to comply with the Oyo State Government’s recent Executive Order designed to regulate private security outfits.
