Stanley Osifo is a businessman and politician from Ovia North-East LGA in Edo State. Educated at Payne Primary School, Edokpolo Grammar School, and Lagos State University, where he earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Christian Religious Studies, he is known for his entrepreneurial activities and political ambition.

Osifo first sought Nigeria’s presidency under the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the 2019 elections, purchasing a ₦12 million nomination form but not advancing to the primaries. In 2026, he again made headlines by buying the All Progressives Congress ₦100 million presidential nomination and expression of interest forms to contest the 2027 election against incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He stated that his ambition was based on personal conviction and denied claims of being sponsored by the president.
